A planner that runs your week instead of scoring your day.
From The Well Designed Life Co. This is one piece of a larger method, whose cadence runs North Star → Season → Week → Daily Anchor. The template holds the Week — the center of gravity, where the method actually lives. It pairs with the free app at deliberateweek.app, which carries the rest.
1 · Open Weeks and find this week.
A new week appears every Sunday. You don't create it.
2 · Choose three. Your three — no more.
There is no fourth field. That's on purpose.
3 · Come back Sunday and close the week.
Twenty minutes. Three questions. This is the whole practice — everything else here supports it.
Sunday — close, then open. Answer the three questions on the week that just ended. Read what you wrote. Then set up to three intentions for the week ahead, and name the blocks that will hold them.
Midweek — dump, don't manage. Anything that arrives goes in Brain Dump. No due dates, no statuses. Cleared at close.
Twice a year — review how it runs. Answer the three questions in the Operations Review. Not weekly. Twice — the paper cousin of the app's Operations Wheel.
Each one answers a different question. That's why there are five and not fifteen.
